HEAT WAVE!!!!

It is now 11 degrees.  Yes that is a heat wave compared to what has been going on. Last night is was -1 with a wind chill of down to about -30.  I am not a polar bear and cold does not agree with me.  OUCH. 
    Atlast I have found a way to combine my love of dolls with my love of sewing and digitizing...
Digitized Doll clothes!!!!

Here are some of my designs.  The best part is that I get to try them out first and get my girls dressed at the same time...

 
The top and the sleeves are designed in my digitizing program and then sewed in the hoop T

This was done on a sheer fabric on WSS stablilizer. Then it was washed out to show the color underneath. It has 6 embroidered panels to the skirt

The skirt has panels with embroidered inserts and the then the sleeve has a a special ribbon to tie it and make it puff... By changing the fabric and the doll I get pajamas. 

 This is the latest and took the longest. There are six embroidered panels with 6 plain ones under them. The top and the sleeves are embroidered with Mylar to add sparkle and make it look metallic.
